Gardaí are investigating the focusing on of a number of plane at Dublin Airport with laser lights final week.
RTÉ Information understands that a minimum of 5 plane have been focused as they got here in to land at Dublin Airport final Friday night time.
The incidents didn’t end in any flight diversions or delays and didn’t have any affect on operations on the airport.
In a press release, gardaí confirmed that an incident had been reported to them at round 9pm final Friday.
A garda spokesperson mentioned inquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for the daa mentioned the authority doesn’t touch upon safety points.
Retired Air Corps Lieutenant Colonel and airport security and safety auditor Kevin Byrne mentioned it was a “very disturbing report” that the planes have been focused as they approached Dublin Airport.
