LONDON, Nov 29 (Reuters) – British airline easyJet (EZJ.L) mentioned early bookings for subsequent spring and summer season have been trying optimistic, and it was seeing sturdy demand for peak vacation weeks this winter with clients accepting increased ticket costs regardless of the more durable financial system.
The outlook may give buyers confidence that vacation bookings can maintain up regardless of the rising stress on family budgets from excessive inflation, power costs and rising mortgage charges.
Because the financial outlook in Europe has darkened, analysts have warned that bookings may plunge. Traditionally demand for flights has tended to trace financial progress and easyJet’s greatest market, Britain, is already in recession.
