A pilot is “shaken up” following a lightweight plane crash at Tauranga Airport as a consequence of engine failure.
The crash occurred following a routine take-off at round 1:20pm on Tuesday afternoon.
The wreckage, which will be clearly noticed by the water’s edge, is on the western finish of the runway after it plunged into the estuary.
