You may notice the night sky is brighter tonight… that is because there’s a new star shining in the Heavens. That star is Kirk Anthony Lucero, whom the Lord asked to join him, following a long illness and hospital stay. Even though Kirk’s surname, Lucero, literally means “Bright Star” in Spanish, his life and his contribution to this world is really what is making the sky brighter. Kirk passed peacefully with family by his side in Seattle, Washington, on January 9, 2021.
Kirk Lucero was born in Farmington, New Mexico on November 10, 1961, and grew up in Albuquerque from 1964, when his parents, Al and Eva Lucero, moved back to their hometown.
