On Saturday, Dec. 12, Warren Village, a Denver-based organization focused on helping low-income, single-parent families make the journey from poverty to self-sufficiency, received a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus, thanks to United Airlines.
For 33 years, Warren Village has offered residents a Holiday Shop where they can choose donated gifts, free of charge, for their families while also enjoying music, refreshments and holiday merriment.
“One of the things I enjoy most about the holidays at Warren Village is that you have a space where people are tuned into what you need,” said Reba, a Warren Village resident. “It’s much more than the gifts. They ask what needs you have and how you’d like those needs met.”
